Flourish helps extend the freshness of food to about 10 days instead of 2 days without refrigeration. The inspiration behind flourish is to bring a better quality of life by reinventing the access to refrigeration to off-grid communities by applying our cooling know-how in making an affordable efficient refrigeration system.
Our first market comprises rural communities in Nigeria where we have developed a pay-as-you-go business model whereby with minimum payments farmers can access our cold storage.
Our technological advantage comes with the use of an ultra-efficient DC linear compressor which allows reducing considerably the size of the solar panel and battery, making a cheaper solution to the end-users.
